Assistant Professor of Political Science

The Department of Political Science at the University of Louisville is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2020. The position is in comparative politics and/or international relations, with preferred research specialization and teaching interests in Middle East and/or African Politics. The position's teaching expectations also include the department's introductory classes in comparative politics. Competitive candidates should have demonstrated research potential and teaching experience. University policy requires completion of a Ph.D. by February 15th of the first probationary year.

The Department of Political Science has 20 full-time professors and is proud of a diverse and dynamic faculty and student body. We have over 450 students and offer BA, BS, and MA degrees.
