Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator, Employment Services works in partnership with the employment and records team, other human resources office professionals, university staff and administrators to employ diverse top talent through a variety of sourcing methods. The Employment Services Coordinator is responsible for guiding hiring officials and search committees through the full employment cycle. The coordinator will be a highly skilled and motivated individual who can support our employment services to multiple departments as the university continues to build on our tremendous growth.
This role requires an individual with drive, the ability to identify exceptional talent, represent FGCU professionally, and work collaboratively with broad-based and interdisciplinary senior teams to fulfill departmental goals.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, social or behavioral sciences, or a closely related field.
Five years of professional full-time experience working closely with hiring managers and executing and delivering the full life cycle of recruitment activities.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Demonstrated experience applying EEO /AA laws fairly and consistently.
Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting in a higher education environment.
Experience recruiting for multiple positions in various disciplines.
Experience utilizing a variety of sourcing strategies, including social media, to recruit highly qualified and diverse talent.
Experience interviewing and/or assessing applicants.
Experience using PeopleAdmin or similar applicant tracking software.
Experience using WorkDay HCM application.
PHR / SHRM -CP certification.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Salary Range
$50,000 - $55,000 annually

Job Duties

Essential Job Duties
•Consults with hiring officials to understand departmental hiring requirements and assess recruiting needs. Coordinates all aspects of search and hiring process with appropriate hiring contact. Facilitates committee and panel search and interview processes.
•Develops recruiting plans to attract top talent in consultation with department, committees, or other appropriate hiring authorities. Makes recommendations for best strategy pertaining to job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board placement, digital and non-digital employment marketing and comprehensive recruitment planning.
•Promotes diversity throughout the university. Uses appropriate sourcing techniques to reach passive and active candidates that assist in meeting Affirmative Action Plan goals.
•Ensures all searches are conducted and documented appropriately based on Florida statue and university procedures.
•Attends meetings, job/career fairs and other networking events to appropriately market FGCU and attract qualified candidates.
•Develops and delivers recruitment training programs and provides guidance to staff and faculty regarding guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant employment laws.
•Participates in evaluation of recruitment and selection strategies and makes appropriate recommendations for change as needed.
•Manages the full life-cycle of the recruitment process to ensure adherence to all equal employment opportunity ( EEO , the Americans with Disabilities Act ( ADA ), and other government compliance requirements. Maintains necessary records related to recruitment activities.
•Prepares reports on recruitment and selection activities. Develops metrics to monitor recruitment process. Develops plans to meet recruitment goals/metrics.
•Collaborates in the development of university personnel regulations and recommends policies and procedures applicable to the Human Resource employment services and recruitment functions.
•Implements procedures to produce effective and efficient management of the university's recruitment and hiring processes. Provides recommendations for the development of the Human Resource functions, proactively seeking new opportunities for web communication and user-friendly options.
•Develops relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms.
•Processes expenditures (invoices for payment). P-Card Functions charging and/or reconciling. P-Card Functions auditing and/or administering. Prepares requisitions and/or purchase orders.
