Anticipated Salary Range: $5,200/month - $5,650/month
Salary Range: $3,897/month - $6,846/month

About the Position

The College Curriculum and Research Analyst provides support to the Associate Deans with the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of research activities and student academic matters within the College of Science. Working independently under the general direction of the Associate Deans, the incumbent performs a variety of analytical, administrative and budgetary work requiring student, faculty, staff and administrator contact. The incumbent is responsible for processing CoS curriculum documents and student petitions.

Minimum Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training.
- Two years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs.

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficient in Excel, PeopleSoft and Access software applications.
- Demonstrated customer/student service experience.
- Experience working in high education
- Experience in data collection and analysis
- Experience in student monitoring and evaluation practices

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Skill in the research, development and evaluation of policies and programs, including skill in the collection, evaluation, and interpretation of data to develop sound conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to apply administrative, fiscal, and budgetary leadership in a large and/or complex organizational unit with broad impact.
- Ability to develop a thorough knowledge of research budgetary procedures, accepted accounting principles, and appropriate software programs.
- Strong computer skills, especially in complex MS Access and Excel spreadsheet modeling and analysis.
- Working knowledge of, and ability to use, Word, PowerPoint, and PeopleSoft Student Records.
- Ability to infer conclusions from data analysis and present data in a way that conveys those conclusions clearly to stakeholders.
