Job Summary
The Project Manager will work on Dr. Denise Smith's study (BETTER HEART) as a team member and will have primary responsibilities for data cleaning, data organization, monitoring and manipulating databases, and statistical analyses. The individual will also collaborate on the preparation of presentations, reports, manuscripts, and other distribution materials. Other duties include communicating with project partners, organizing research-related events, and performing administrative tasks. The successful candidate must possess good interpersonal skills, analytical skills, writing and editing skills, and work well as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with either SPSS or R, and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with public safety mission is desirable.

Minimum Qualifications
M.S. in statistics, epidemiology, health and physiological sciences, cardiovascular health, kinesiology, physiology, public health or related field. Training and experience in applied statistics is required.

Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in related area.
