Description of the Job
The Campus Learning Center ( CLC ) provides learning support services to all undergraduate students at VCU . Services include: placement testing, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and academic coaching. The CLC's mission is to support students in their journey to academic success.
Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders attend course lectures and conduct weekly study sessions for students. SI sessions are 50 minute, group study sessions that engage students in activities where they practice the lecture content in a hands-on setting.
Required Qualifications
Previous VCU student with a Bachelor's degree who has a minimum of one year experience as an SI Leader in the CLC .
