Coordinator II/III, Development Program (Corporate & Foundation Relations)

The individual in this position will provide direct support for Corporate and Foundation Relations Officers. Essential functions include but are not limited to: drafting communications and proofreading documents; planning and coordinating complex meetings; coordinating detailed travel arrangements and itineraries; identifying, recommending, and securing appointments with prospects and donors; processing expense vouchers and invoices; monitoring the Corporate and Foundation Relations annual operating budget. Utilizing computer programs effectively in order to complete daily tasks including general correspondence, calendars, emails, detailed spreadsheets, mail merges and donor reports. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for safeguarding confidential information and assisting with organization/coordination of Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations functions, including preparing drafts of meeting agendas and minutes. Incumbent must display a professional and courteous demeanor.

Minimum Qualifications
Entry into the applicant pool requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; two (2) years' experience in public relations work and general office operations (professional office environment highly desired); a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one prior to selection; and knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to general office operations. Employer will consider advanced degrees in lieu of experience. Candidates must possess excellent written communication skills and interpersonal skills, enabling them to interact effectively with a wide variety of people. The individual also must possess the ability to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team environment, and manage multiple projects and competing demands on time. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email software.
