Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in at least one high demand skill area such as (but not limited to) Information Technology, Business Technology, Management/Leadership Development, Healthcare, or Advanced Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in highly related field such as MBA, Finance, Public Administration, plus three (3) years' relevant experience.

Special consideration will be given to applicants who are bilingual or multilingual.

General Function:

Develop and deliver high quality, high demand, non-credit workforce training programs including customized training for industry, open enrollment career/ professional development courses, and targeted workforce development programming to support collaborative efforts with community stakeholders such as businesses, industry, NGOs, and governmental agencies across 11-county service area. Provide day-to-day problem solving and management of critical systems and processes required in the delivery of training for business and industry.

Develop, manage, and oversee the implementation of standard operating procedures required for the workforce division. Maintain a portfolio of internal and third-party providers to support training delivery. Recruit and contract instructors for open enrollment and industry contract training classes. Work closely with Director of Operations to effectively manage the instructor-led, non-credit course schedule for the nine-county service area including contracting instructors, reserving facilities, preparing course materials, entering course information in the learning management database and all other required functions. Administer Continuing Education Units, which includes preparing reports and maintaining transcripts. Manage reporting for all programs developed in the division. Provide technical assistance for ongoing quality assurance in relation to workforce data input and use within the Salesforce and Xenegrade platforms.

Produce training cost and accounts receivable reports on a monthly basis. Support business development to maintain and increase workforce lines of business. Provide tactical support to market and promote activities for all workforce offerings. The effectiveness of this division and Director will be primarily assessed on the number of workforce contact hours of instruction provided annually along with innovative and effective program deliverables which positively impact Motlow's funding formula.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

(Duties and responsibilities listed below are examples of work performed and may be modified as needs of the College dictate)

• EDUCATION AND TRAINING INITIATIVES: Execute the design and delivery of customized training offered to business and industry. Work closely with Executive Director to conduct business development activities and develop customized training for business clients Develop and manage standard operating procedures for systems in relation to effective workforce training delivery. Provide day-to-day detailed technical support and guidance to team. Maintain the planning and implementation of new and recurring non-credit training opportunities. Provide input and direction on business pricing for service packages, and program evaluation methods. Collaborate with Marketing Department to support effective marketing of workforce innovation endeavors. Work closely with Director of Operations to build and manage portfolio of highly qualified instructors/training vendors and effective curriculum resources.

• MARKETING : Provide support to leadership and guidance to the workforce team around successful employer outreach marketing efforts to generate new and sustained, financially positive non-credit training opportunities for Motlow. Participate in and support all social media campaigns for workforce marketing. • PARTNERSHIPS, ALLIANCES, AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES : Utilize community partnerships to collect and report relevant labor market information supporting the implementation of various workforce programs and business development. Support Executive Director in establishing and maintaining a Workforce Development Advisory Board of local industry experts to guide and contribute to the success of non-credit programs. Effectively support the recruitment of non-credit adjunct instructors/ third party vendors and maintain a reliable source of credentialed instructors in a wide variety of subjects.

• NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TRENDS : Work closely with Executive Director and Director of Operations to effectively utilize and manage the implementation and day to day use of all technologies in the workforce division including but not limited to; workforce website, salesforce, Xenegrade, Trumba, Argos, Banner, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and social media. Stay abreast of and provide leadership with information regarding trends, news and legislation relevant to Motlow's workforce initiatives.

• FISCAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Provide valid data for monthly non-credit revenue reports. Support the viability of the Workforce Development department through the generation of revenues in addition to funding formula MSCC allocations. Provide technical assistance to department team members to maintain accurate, well-organized, up-to-date hard and digital files that are always audit and review-ready. Direct appropriate billings, payments, collections, receipting, allocations, and reimbursements. Appropriately monitor and justifying budget requests, expenditures, and pricing. Manage an effective system of long-term maintenance and availability of student completion and certification records.
• OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES : Prepare reports and other administrative documents for MSCC use.
