Minimum Qualifications :

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Three years' related experience developing, designing, and managing complete Web site systems. Previous experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects. Experience managing corporate social media campaigns.

• Strong knowledge of building custom web pages, and templates, using HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS3, PHP and MySQL.

• Knowledge of website development best practices, including SEO techniques and compliance with ADA Section 508 accessibility guidelines.

• Familiarity with modern content management system such as Drupal, Wordpress, or OmniUpdate.

• Ability to analyze user information technology needs to design new or modify current Web-based application systems.

• Ability to multi-task, be flexible, manage shifting priorities and adjust well to change.

• Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.

• Strong project management skills and ability to keep work/tasks organized and prioritized.

• Ability to collaborate and complete projects with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Understanding of and commitment to Motlow State's Vision, Mission, and Values.

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude along with an interest and ability to learn, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and techniques.

• Understanding of best practices for use of social media and websites.

• Experience with web development and design for complex, interactive web applications that support a broad range of usability requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud hosting solutions

• Experience in building and maintaining corporate intranets

General Function:

Under general supervision: design, test and implement website, intranet, and social media to meet user needs. Design and code web related media from concept to production, including landing pages, campaign sites, individual graphic assets and multimedia. Provide primary end user support. Design website and social media campaigns to support organizational strategies and goals. Work closely with Vice President of External Affairs and Workforce Innovation on the creation and maintenance of campus wide digital signage. Comply with institutional, state, and federal government policies on accessibility, and remain compatible with vendor-supplied updates.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates and maintains accessible website layouts and designs and provide daily support, maintenance, and enhancement of the college's websites and third-party sites.

• Translates wireframes, storyboards and site maps into web design layouts.

• Maintains and edits website content in the content management system (CMS).

• Participates as a team member in website development projects.

• Maintains and edits content and graphic media such as photographs, video and other visual design elements.

• Assesses usability and accessibility of website designs.

• Monitors and co-manages the External Affairs services ticketing queue.

• Assists in documentation and education of Motlow State website standards and procedures.

• Participates in troubleshooting and quality assurance testing for various websites, applications, and tools.

• Develops and provides information on advanced technical/training support for the College's web content management system and other online tools (via social media, blogs, form systems, surveys, and website tutorials).

• Creates web analytics reports, provides insight on interpreting results, and helps clients improve their website usability.

• Researches and recommends techniques and technologies for advancing the College website. Proficient in basic digital graphic art using Photoshop or similar application.

• Works with Vice President of External Affairs and Workforce Innovation, Director of Operations, and vendors to execute online initiatives.

• Develops and executes ongoing social media campaigns for the college. Actively monitors college's social media accounts and provide timely responses to messages.

• Serves as a member of the college's creative services team and collaborate on large-scale projects to meet organizational communication goals.
