The University of Cincinnati offers 82 degrees and certificates online. More than 6,000 students are enrolled in fully online learning programs, and more than 10,000 students have taken online courses. Currently, Cincinnati Online manages operations for fourteen of these degrees and expects to grow steadily over the next several years.
Recently launched under the leadership of a new Vice Provost and Dean, Cincinnati Online has the tenacity and drive of a new enterprise supported by the traditions and excellence of a highly established institution. We are building a team of leaders to support the complete student experience working with future bearcats and UC alumni. We are seeking 1 to 4 forward-thinking innovators who are eager to join UCs newest academic unit as we build the next chapter in online education.
Responsibilitiesfor this position include: engage with prospective students interested in online courses, certificates, and degree programs; interact with prospective students from point of inquiry through new student life cycle and use a consultative advising approach to build friendly, professional relationships with prospective students from inquiry through 1st term registration. Conduct interviews to qualify candidates, explain academic programs, and assess prospective students' fit with program of interest. Implement a communication plan and lead management strategy designed to encourage, support, and guide prospective students through the application and registration process for the desired program or certificate.
Minimum Qualifications : A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with three (3) years' relevant experience OR an Associate's degree with five (5) years' relevant experience OR seven (7) years' relevant experience. Also required counselor or service provider experience.
Preferred Qualifications: A candidate should haveknowledge of college admissions and recruitment; possess professional verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient in essential office technology (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Experience insales, recruitment, or admissions. One (1) year in an outbound recruitment office.
