The College of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology and Systems Physiology, is looking for a Visiting Scholar in the laboratory of Dr. Christian Hong. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

Job Description: The research visiting scholar will work on murine and human small intestinal and colonic organoids to investigate roles of circadian rhythms in cell proliferation, microbiome, and tumor development. The selected candidate will generate and maintain mouse and human organoids and perform lentivirus transfection or reporter plasmids. This person will also collect, analyze, and troubleshoot fluorescent and bioluminescent data from the experimental platforms subjected to different genetic and external perturbations.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent in a discipline focused on microbiome, cancer, muring, and human organoids.
