Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse

Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse

The University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Assistant Coach to work in the Women's Lacrosse program. This is a full-time position, salaried, with a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will report to the Head Coach and will be expected to assist with the management of the women's NCAA intercollegiate lacrosse program in accordance with institutional, NCAA Division I and Conference bylaws and regulations. Duties include but are not limited to:

Recruiting
  • Assist in on and off campus recruiting for lacrosse program - identifying & evaluating prospective student-athletes
  • Organize recruiting events & campus - Jump Forward (compliance/recruiting system)

Team
  • Assist in organizing team travel - details, meals, paperwork
  • Liaison with team equipment - ordering and issuing Under Armour equipment
  • Lead community service initiatives and events

Player Development
  • Plan and prepare practice plans, team practice, individual work - preferably offensive strategy
  • Assist in aiding academic progress of student-athletes
  • Assist in alumni relations & events

Social Media
  • Continue to create and build social media sites & interaction
  • Work with sports information department

Video
  • Organize, upload & download of video - practice, games, exchange/editing
  • Oversee team manager in video exchange.


Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree AND collegiate player experience at Division I OR experience coaching at the collegiate level.

The position may require some evening and weekend hours.
