DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor all activity in the studio and answer student questions.
- Oversee student clean-up habits while emphasizing safety and best practices.
- Perform daily & weekly clean-up and organizational tasks.
- Assist with events and other related sculpture projects per faculty discretion.
- Notify faculty of any ongoing problems with equipment, facilities, lighting, and/or student concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age.
- Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school
- Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), with the exception of summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with silkscreen, intaglio, lithography, and/or relief processes.Please indicate any sculpture or building experience you have previously completed. Priority will be given to students with shop and/or sculpture experience.
- Experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
