Job Description:


The Department of Criminal Justice, Behavior and Law seeks applicants for a full-time temporary position to begin August 2018. This is a one-year appointment, beginning in August 2018 and continuing through May 2019. The position is designed to support the Department's growing number of undergraduate majors in the Criminal Justice, Behavior and Law.


The successful applicant will be required to teach undergraduate courses in Criminal Behavior, and Statistics and Methods 1. Additional responsibilities include developing and coordinating internship opportunities.

Requirements:


Masters in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field with teaching experience; or a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field is required. The applicant must be able to teach an introductory-level statistics/methodology course.



  • Visiting Instructor title applies when the selected applicant holds a Masters degree.

  • Visiting Assistant Professor title applies when the selected applicant holds a terminal degree.
