**Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

-Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
-Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
-Assistance with special projects
-Seasonal work

TES is currently seeking an experienced Food Service Worker/Custodian to work an 8-month long assignment at the Solon Dixon Forestry Center in Andalusia, Alabama. A TES employee in this position will work a normal schedule of either 6:00 am-2:00 pm and/or 3:30 pm-8:00 am and have a variety of responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

-Cooking (season, bake, boil, fry) 3 meals per day for guests
-Kitchen preparation (washing, slicing, mixing for cooking)
-Serving meals (prepare salad bar, fill glasses, and serve plates)
-Performing miscellaneous kitchen duties (inventory, shelf stocking, delivery checking)
-Performing general custodial duties in dormitories and other facilities to include restrooms (sweep, mop, vacuum and dust)

Minimum Qualifications

-Previous food service and preparation experience
