Summary of Job Duties
Reporting directly to the Director of Training, Corporate Development and Academic Outreach, the Learning Resources Developer serves as a key member of the Global Campus Rogers unit by developing tools to improve processes, deliver content, and engage learners. Duty areas for this position nclude the development of learning resources, research and innovation, learning technology support, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Please ensure that all relevant application materials include details addressing the minimum qualifications. Applicants not meeting the minimum qualifications will be disqualified from consideration.
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least three years of in a relevant field (e.g., learning technology support, academic delivery, software development, data analytics)
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS
  • Web API knowledge/development and familiarity with REST -based APIs and developing SDKs
  • Experience with learning management systems or content management systems (e.g., Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress)
  • Experience designing for a cloud environment (e.g., AWS , Azure, Google)
  • Experience with interactive content creation tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, iSpring, Adobe Captivate)
  • Coding experience in at least one of the following languages: SQL , Java, Python, C#, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, iOS Swift, PHP , or C/C++
  • Experience withJavascript libraries and frameworks (e.g., jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap)
  • Experience with source control systems (Git) in a production environment
  • Understanding of web security and data protection, FERPA , HIPA compliance

  • Master s degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education
  • Experience with mobile application development
  • Experience with audio editing, video editing, and image editing (e.g. Audacity, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
  • Experience with big data analytics and visualization techniques (e.g. D3.js, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Fluency with the fundamentals of design and UI/UX/layout strategy

  • Effective communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to easily edit and troubleshoot based on HTML coding standards
