Part Time Faculty Position

Institute for Core Studies (ICS)

We invite applications for an adjunct part-time faculty member to teach First Year Writing at St. John's University in Queens, New York. In this course, students work within a community of writers to generate ideas, read texts through the lens of a working writer, access and interrogate sources of information, and create/revise multimodal texts. Candidates need experience teaching and knowledge of composition theory and pedagogy. Ph.D.'s and MFA's preferred.
