Faculty Positions

Antioch University Midwest is seeking a Core Faculty and Chairperson, Special Education faculty member and an Early Childhood Education faculty member for the campus located in Yellow Springs, Ohio. 

The Core Faculty and Chairperson will specializes in Special Education that is part of the Division of Education and Interdisciplinary Studies at AUM campus. The applicants must have a strong P-12 background and a commitment to teaching excellence for our expanding graduate licensure programs. The Education Program is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The Intervention Specialist Program is a graduate program designed for candidates to earn a Master’s of Education degree with Licensure. The candidate educational requirements include a Doctorate in Special Education or closely   related field preferred with a consideration of an ABD nearing completion. The candidate must also have a minimum of five (5) years of public school teaching experience working with students identified with disabilities (K-12) with a current licensure in Special Education

The Special Education faculty candidate must possess a strong P-12 background and a commitment to teaching excellence for our expanding undergraduate and graduate licensure programs. The Intervention Specialist Program is a graduate program designed for candidates to earn a Master's of Education degree with Licensure.

The Early Childhood Education faculty candidate must possess a strong P-12 background and a commitment to teaching excellence for our expanding undergraduate and graduate licensure programs. The Early Childhood Education Program is both an undergraduate and graduate program designed for candidates to earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Master's of Education degree with initial Licensure.
