The College of Medicine, Department of Cancer Biology, is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Jun-Lin Guan. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

Job Description: Postdoctoral positions are available to pursue basic and translational cancer research. Our laboratory focuses on the role and mechanisms of autophagy, mTORC1 and FAK signaling pathways in cancer development and progression, stem cell biology, as well as other biological and disease processes. We use a variety of genetically engineered mouse models combined with molecular, cellular and functional genomic approaches to gain mechanistic insights of critical molecules and their complex signaling networks in vivo. Qualifications: A Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. graduates. Candidates with a strong background in cell and molecular biology, cancer research, and/or vascular biology are encouraged to apply. Experience in signal transduction, autophagy, stem cells, and mouse models of cancer or other diseases will be a plus.

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
