This is a grant funded position.
CONTEXT OF THE JOB:
The Educational Researcher for Program Evaluation is responsible for ongoing program evaluation and applied research in a variety of educational and human services programming. The Educational Researcher is responsible for designing and implementing program evaluation activities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts evaluation and applied research projects using both quantitative and qualitative designs. Serves as part of a team in carrying out these projects.
- Supervises graduate student assistants in completing evaluation and research projects.
- Participates in the preparation of proposals for research and evaluation projects; seeks external funding and, when appropriate, serves as principal investigator (PI) and/or co-PI on grant and/or contract proposals.
- Fosters and maintains relationships with clients.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master in Education or related field, doctorate degree preferred, with four years of experience in conducting program evaluation and/or applied research in schools
- Analysis and other relevant computer skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting strict timelines.
