Secretary - Part-Time - Temporary


Secretary (Temporary/Part-Time)



Student Health Services is looking for a part-time secretary. This is a temporary position which will require flexibility with days and hours available to work . The candidate should be a motivated, self directed person who can prioritize work, provide secretarial support and perform skilled data entry.

Secretary responsibilities & duties:

Greet students and visitors

Respond to questions in person, on the telephone or email

Take messages

Screen documents

Perform administrative tasks including data entry into EHR, photocopying, and filing

Work independently, professional, patient, compassionate and friendly

Other duties as necessary for office flow

Secretary qualifications and skills:

HS diploma or GED required

3+ year's secretarial/clerical experience including data processing, knowledge of software programs including Word, Excel and electronic medical records (EMR)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Days/hours: Monday- Friday 10 AM - 2 PM - (up to 20 hours a week)

Days and hours may change with office needs

Begin/End: June 15, 2018 - December 15, 2018

Reports to: Director Student Health Services

Location: DaSilva Hall (Queens campus)
