The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in Ohio is offering a full-time Interventional Radiology Faculty Position in the Department of Radiology. The position of a Section Chief of Interventional Radiology will be a consideration for the qualified applicant. Rank and Track will be commensurate with experience and credentials of candidate This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities. Candidates will be competent in all aspects of vascular and interventional radiology. Fellowship training in interventional radiology is needed and subspecialty certification in interventional radiology is desirable.

Job Duties: Responsibilities include staffing at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and other UC Health facilities. Hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art IR suites, PACS and voice recognition dictation. UCMC is a Level 1 Trauma center with an active transplant program. There is a dedicated, IR Clinic with 3 exam rooms and dedicated nursing support. There will be opportunities for outpatient center vein interventions. UC Radiology offers an ACGME-accredited IR fellowship approved for 2 positions/year, Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR), and is applying for an Independent Residency to start in 2020. Responsibilities will include teaching and supervision of interventional radiology fellows, residents and medical students. The applicant will be expected to pursue academic endeavors.

Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be ABR/AOBR certified or eligible and eligible for an Ohio medical license.
