Course Description:
This course is designed to create and enhance learners' understanding of the influence and impact of race, gender, ethnicity, social class, sexual orientation, religion, age, and disability on their educational settings and their leadership styles. It will also support learners' understanding of and engagement with issues of equity and social justice within the educational system in America. Additionally, learners will review, critically assess, and synthesize appropriate theoretical frameworks, epistemologies, and pertinent research literature to support their participatory action research projects.
