Under the guidance of the director, the position of College Program Assistant II performs a variety of duties in support of all Community Education programs located at the Pleasant Hill & San Ramon campuses of Diablo Valley College as well as those held at John F. Kennedy University and the Rossmoor community.

Under the guidance of the director, perform the following duties in support of all Community Education programs, at the Pleasant Hill campus, San Ramon campus, John F. Kennedy University and at Rossmoor.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Acts as first point-of-contact for department via phone, email and in-office inquiries
Assists CE instructors with administrative tasks, such as, processing of supply orders, copies, confirming room assignments, payroll questions and general questions
Processes registrations and payments for all CE programs using online registration system, rSchoolToday
Updates marketing materials via Constant Contact, MS Publisher and other platforms
Completes facilities-use request forms for classes and events
Inputs CE fall, spring and summer schedules into rSchool
Oversees general supplies inventory and sends supply need requests to director
Is familiar with college policies pertaining to the program
Uses judgment to escalate appropriate issues to appropriate personnel
Maintains confidential information
Delivers and picks up mail and copy jobs from the DVC printshop
Prepares for, and supports, all classes and events, including evening and weekend events
Is compliant with mandatory child abuse reporting rules and regulations

Technical Skills:
Mail merge, Excel spreadsheets using formulas, MS Publisher
Demonstrated use of MS Office applications appropriate for position, including mail merge, Excel, MS Publisher and other marketing/publishing programs
Create graphics for marketing materials

Hours as assigned, occasional evenings and weekends.
