Internal Audit at the University at Buffalo seeks candidates for Staff Auditor to prepare or assist in preparing professionally sound audit plans providing direction for the efficient and effective conduct of audits. The Staff Auiditor works closely with the Assistant Director of Internal Audit to  identify areas of greatest risk or significance in the auditee’s operations, which define the scope of the audit, and develop an appropriate professional approach for examining those areas selected for review. The Staff Auditor communicates the results of audit and consulting projects via written report and presentations to management. Proficiency in audit standards, policies and procedures as well as applying IIA standards throughout the audit process are essential.
