Summary of Job Duties
The Department of Political Science and the King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies invite applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank, to start in August 2018. Primary duties include teaching comparative politics with a focus on the Middle East at the graduate and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in outstanding scholarly publications, soliciting grants, and contributing to the work of the King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies.
The candidate may focus on issues such as the emergence of civil society and community engagement in a complex institutional environment, gender dynamics, migration, conflict resolution, or human rights.
