Job Description:
The Department of Agriculture and Veterinary Technology at Alfred State College invites qualified applicants for a full-time, 10-month, tenure track position beginning in August 2018.

Applicants must be a licensed New York State Veterinarian or be able to obtain their license to practice veterinary medicine in New York within six months of employment.  Applicants must have three to five years of clinical experience that includes working with licensed veterinary technicians. Candidate should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, the willingness to work as part of a team and possess a strong commitment to undergraduate veterinary technician education and mentoring.

 Requirements:
The candidate will have a DVM degree and experience in large and small animal medicine.  The applicant must have or be eligible to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in New York State.
