Qualifications:
A doctorate from an accredited university and/or scholarly active (SA) status under AACSB standards. A doctoral degree must be awarded by the date of appointment.
A record of research that pertains to some aspect of the rubric of business, government, and society. Applicants from disciplines outside of business, including political science, history, and law, are welcomed.
Candidates applying at the Associate Professor rank should have a documented record of published research, teaching excellence and professional achievement appropriate to the rank.
Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to educational goals of a multicultural population as might have been gained in cross-cultural study, training, teaching, and other comparable experience.

Responsibilities:
Excellence in teaching, research, and service will be expected.
The successful candidate's primary teaching responsibility will be the upper-division course Business, Government, and Society, which surveys corporate social responsibility and other topics pertaining to the business firm's relationships with its regulatory, political, social, economic, and natural environments. (It will not encompass Business Ethics, which is addressed in a separate course.)
Offering a secondary teaching area, which could be in organizational behavior, business law, strategic management, or human resource management.
Candidate must address the needs of a student population of great diversity – in age, cultural background, ethnicity, primary language, ability, work experience, and academic preparation – through course materials, student advisement, and teaching strategies.

Salary Range: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Starting Date: August 17, 2018
