Ob/Gyn Specialist

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE obstetrician/gynecologist to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor clinician-scientist with clinical and research interest and expertise in reproductive aspects of addiction medicine and pain management. VCU is committed to excellence in clinical care, teaching and research opportunities including clinical, translational, and basic research. Responsibilities for this position include clinical research, supervision of residents and medical students, and participation in an active clinical practice.  Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment, or commitment to do so as a faculty member is essential for this position. 

The Virginia Commonwealth University Health System has a total of 24 Ob/Gyn residents in training with over 2500 deliveries and 41,000 outpatient visits each year.  Virginia Commonwealth University is a National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health designated by the Department of Health & Human Services.
