Applications are invited from dynamic, results-oriented individuals to fill the position of Chair of Neurosurgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the ongoing growth of an excellent Department at a major academic health center.

 

The Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery reports to the Executive Dean of the College of Medicine and also has accountability to the CEO of OU Medical Center.   The Chair will lead the Department with overall responsibility for academic and clinical planning, development, and resource management.

 

The successful candidate will be an M.D. with Board Certification. He/she will have a record of successful experience in academic leadership and mentoring, outstanding clinical and teaching skills, organizational leadership skills, and will have shown experience in clinical research with the ability to foster appropriate research activities.
