Position Description:

Provides education and care to Child Development Center (CDC) children; writes and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum; plans and documents parent conferences and home visits; maintains and updates children's files; supervises, schedules, and evaluates classroom student assistants and field experience students; and assists Coordinator with administration of the CDC. Work schedule will be Monday-Friday 9:30-5:30.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in early childhood education required. Associate's degree in early childhood education plus three years of experience working with children birth to age five may be substituted.

Required Qualifications:

Experience working with children birth to age five and experience with Microsoft Office required.

Certifications:

Current certification in CPR and First Aid or the ability to acquire certification within three months of employment required.
