Job Summary

Under supervision of the Head Chef and Assistant Chef, prepare daily menu items to recipe specifications. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, academic year position.

Education/Skills Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Culinary Degree with accompanying experience or 3 years progressive cooking experience required.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

A valid Driver's License and the ability to meet the eligibility requirements of the College's current Motor Vehicle Use Policy. Serve Safe Certification. Other Experience Requirements: Three years experience in kitchen production required. Demonstrated understanding of basic cooking techniques and their application in catering and/or institutional settings.

Standard Work Days and Hours

Shifts run from 12-8pm, 5 days/week during the 38-week academic year. Weekend availability may be required. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview.
