Assistant or Associate Professional of Organizational Behavior

Job Description:

The Department of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership at Texas Christian University invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track Organizational Behavior position within the Neeley School of Business. This position can be filled at either the assistant or associate-level; we encourage interested candidates at both levels to apply. Employment will begin in August, 2018.

Description
Successful candidates will demonstrate significant research and teaching accomplishments in organizational behavior or closely related fields (e.g., HR, I/O Psychology), with collegiality also of high importance. Primary responsibilities will include conducting high quality research, teaching undergraduate and/or MBA courses, supporting the BNSF Neeley Leadership Program (http://neeley.tcu.edu/leader/), and engaging in executive education (for mid-career applicants). Teaching load and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualifications. A typical research-intensive faculty teaches 3 courses per year (usually a "2/1" load) and receives competitive summer support.

Job Qualifications:

Candidates for the position should possess (or expect completion of by August 2018) an earned doctorate in business management or a closely related discipline with an emphasis in organizational behavior.

We will be interviewing a small number of applicants at the Academy of Management meeting in Atlanta, GA; interview invitations will be made in mid- to late-July, so interested applicants should submit materials as soon as possible (preferably before July 15th). Interviewing at the Academy meeting is preferred, but not a prerequisite for later consideration.
