DIRECTORS OF DEVELOPMENT
The University of Illinois Foundation (UIF) is seeking two dynamic, highly motivated individuals to join its fundraising staff as Directors of Development. The Director of Development serves as a major gift officer generalist with a focus on key priorities and special initiatives that advance the three universities of the University Illinois System. These positions will work strategically and collaboratively with colleagues across the University of Illinois System and within the Foundation.
The successful candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree preferred, a minimum of five years of fundraising experience or related career experience, and a willingness to travel. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to working in a team-oriented environment are essential. Preferred qualifications include major gift and campaign success at a higher education institution.
