Job Description:

The School of Art at Texas Christian University announces a one-semester lecturer appointment in the field of early modern European art history (1300-1700), Spring 2018.

Candidates should be prepared to teach 3 courses, to include one section of the Introduction to Art History survey, as well as specialized undergraduate classes and/or a graduate seminar in the applicant's field of expertise.

Classified as a Lecturer, salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

TCU is a NASAD-accredited School of Art that offers the B.A. and M.A. in Art History. TCU maintains a close working relationship with the art museums in the area, especially the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, Dallas Museum of Art, Kimbell Art Museum, and Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Job Qualifications:

Ph.D. or A.B.D. in Art History or a related field, college-level teaching experience.
