Assistant Professor

Seeking 12-month clinical track resident faculty with at least five years of teaching experience (preferred), a foundational record of scholarship, and five years of full-time Family Nurse Practitioner ( FNP ) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ( PMHNP ) experience to teach in graduate programs. We are specifically seeking an experienced FNP or PMHNP to teach in our advanced practice programs. The Capstone College of Nursing has over 2,300 students enrolled in programs leading to BSN , MSN , DNP and EdD degrees. At the MSN level, we offer concentrations for Case Managers, Clinical Nurse Leaders, Nurse Administrators, and Nurse Practitioners. We offer both post BSN and post MSN entry points in our DNP program.

Requirements for the 12-month Clinical Assistant Professor position include: a DNP or PhD degree, experience teaching students, a foundational record of scholarship, five years of full-time FNP or PMHNP experience, an FNP or PMHNP (across the lifespan) national board certification, and an advanced practice nursing license.
