Degree and area of specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Concentration in Education, Business, English, Social Work, Communications or related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Experience in educational administration and/or office management in an academic health care setting is preferred. Previous experience working within the University of Wisconsin system and/or Graduate Medical Education (GME) as well as familiarity with ACGME is desirable. Candidates should have a strong commitment to medical education.

Position Summary:

The Student Services Coordinator maintains oversight and professional educational support for the educational programs and activities in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine. This person reports to the Administrative Program Specialist and works collaboratively with the Directors of the fellowship programs, UWHC Graduate Medical Education Office, and the Department of Medicine Director of Education, the Department of Medicine Fellowships Coordinator, faculty, and staff who assist in providing educational experiences for our fellows.
