The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Utah's School of Medicine seeks an experienced, board certified, cytopathologist with the opportunity for a leadership role. Full professor level faculty will be given preference in either the clinical or tenure tracks. The appropriate individual will participate in the clinical service, administrative, teaching, and research efforts of the Division. During 2016, the University
of Utah and ARUP Laboratory reported a total cytology accession volume of over 48,000 cases. Participation in a surgical pathology sub specialty service is optional. Ample opportunities are available for research collaboration at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and ARUP Laboratories. Salt Lake City offers a spectacular natural environment surrounded by five national parks, with low cost living and all of the opportunities of a cosmopolitan city.
