Job Description:

Adjunct instructors are needed to teach courses within the Computer Media Technology Department. Expertise required in one or more specialty areas including:

  • HTML5
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • JavaScript
  • XML
  • Mobile Web Development
  • Ajax

Classes are offered during the day and evening sessions. Candidates must be able to teach day classes. Please specify in your cover letter the course(s) you are able to teach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred, and relevant industry experience  
  • Experience with Learning Communities or openness to engaging in the teaching of Learning Communities
  • College-level teaching experience required; community college teaching experience preferred
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST ATTEND THE ADJUNCT ACADEMY PRIOR TO BEING ASSIGNED COURSES.

Additional Information:

Salary: $1,066.00 per credit hour

Effective Date: Fall semester 2017, open until filled.
