Assistant Professor of Health Sciences - Health Informatics
Nature of Work:
Teach courses in and coordinate the Health Informatics track in the Bachelor of Health Science degree program.
Minimum Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in health informatics, health care administration, or a clinical health care field.Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, as well as scholarship.Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence of previous scholarly activity.Previous teaching experience at the university level.Previous academic administrative experience as a program or degree coordinator.
Essential Duties:
Assist in the development and refinement of the Health Informatics curriculum.Participate in academic advisement of Health Sciences students.Teach undergraduate courses in health information systems and technology.Conduct and engage in research/scholarly activity in the discipline(s) of health services management, health services research, and/or related fields.Participate in committee service as required.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
