Position Summary:

Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Athletics Trainer Intern in Sports Medicine. The position has an anticipated start date of August 1, 2017.

The candidate would be expected to: assist with providing athletic training services for all student-athletes within the Athletics department - specific team assignments may vary from year to year; serve as a liaison with the strength and conditioning coaches in the rehabilitation of student-athletes, particularly over the summer months; assist with the coordination of the Peer Leadership Program; assist with the maintenance of training room supplies.

Bachelors degree or obtain by date of employment.

Current New Jersey State Athletic Trainer Licensure or obtain by date of employment.

NATABOC certified or obtain by date of employment.

Must be able to travel, work weekends and in all types of weather. Must be able to work flexible hours.
