Name of Position: Chang Sun Term Professorship

Description: The Lauder Institute invites applications for a Term Professorship in International Studies. We are especially interested in applicants specializing in one or more of the following fields:
Natural resources
Technology
Varieties of Finance
Varieties of Consumption and Well-Being
Sustainability
Other Topics of an International or Comparative Nature
The appointment will be for one semester or one year between July 2017 and June 2018 and involves research, student advising, and teaching one semester-long course. The position is open to all ranks; remuneration will be based on qualifications and length of stay. Candidates must have a social science PhD in hand by July 2017.
Deadline: Applications will be considered beginning March 31, 2017 and will continue until the position is filled.
Minimum Requirements: (1) Completed PhD or doctorate by the time of appointment. (2) Field open to any social-science discipline, e.g. anthropology, economics, history, political science, or sociology.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience, fluency in one language in addition to English.
