Enrollment Management Communications Specialist


Title: Enrollment Management Communications Specialist

Department: Enrollment Management

Campus: Queens

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as project manager for marketing projects for the Office of Enrollment Management, which includes Undergraduate Admission, Transfer Admission, International Admission, Office of the Registrar, and Student Financial Services.
  • Serve as project manager and communication plan manager for Graduate Admissions.
  • Write, edit, and proofread communications for Enrollment Management.
  • Website editing, development, and maintenance of pages on the stjohns.edu website that fall under Enrollment Management.
  • Liaison for creative development of SJU across various online lead-generating platforms such as YouVisit, Hobsons, Chegg, iExplore, etc.
  • Database manager for marketing projects and corresponding line-item costs for projects developed for Admissions and other projects.
  • Serve as representative for the Office of Enrollment Management at events when required.

Personal Requirements:
  • Punctuality and ability to complete projects within pre-determined deadlines.
  • A strong attention to detail, frequently in high pressure circumstances.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with copy editing; knowledge of Chicago and AP style.
  • Outgoing personality who builds strong ongoing relationships with colleagues and vendors.
  • Experience with graphic design, layout design, and photo manipulation a plus.
  • Experience with HTML and/or CSS a plus.

Technological Requirements:
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook.
  • HTML
  • Adobe Web Premium Suite a plus (Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks).
  • Adobe Acrobat a plus.
  • CRM experience a plus.
  • Banner a plus.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
