The Department of Modern Languages and Classics at The University of Alabama has an opening for a full-time, one-year instructor position in French beginning August 16, 2017. Successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to teach French at all levels. The French program is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in 20th and 21st centuries French literature. Ability to teach civilization and/or Francophone literature a plus. Native or near-native fluency in French and English required. PhD in French, ABD and MA in French considered.
