THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY-DICKINSON LAW invites exceptional entry-level candidates to apply for a full-time, fixed-term faculty position commencing in the 2017-18 academic year in the area of legal methods, writing and analysis. Dickinson Law is one of Penn State's two fully accredited law schools and is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania—near Harrisburg, our state capital, and not far from Washington, D.C. The overarching mission of Dickinson Law's small and dynamic faculty is to educate and train lawyers who are equipped with skills and competencies to excel in an evolving legal profession.

Applicants should have a distinguished record of law practice, a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school, and superior academic credentials. Training and experience in academic support is desirable. The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic record and relevant experience.

Employment will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one or two years from date of hire with possibility of re-funding. Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience.
