Green Roof Quality Construction  Technician

Work with plants, environment, and green roofs part-time work March - Oct.

Required Education/Knowledge/Skills:

• A strong interest in plants and environmental stewardship. 
• Green Roof, Roofing, or General Construction.
• Able to read site plans and drawings.
• Comfortable with training and teaching.
• Teaches green roof installation and coaches others during install.
• Physically strong and able to lift 50 plus pounds as well as climb onto rooftops (not afraid of heights).

• LiveRoof provides a fully vegetated module green roof system.

 

Position Insight:

• Conducts pre-install training with contractors.
• Ensures quality control and proper LiveRoof green roof install techniques.
• Post-maintenance green roof care training and follow through.
• Part-time, average weekly hours range from 20-32 hours with some weeks being more and other less.
• Seasonal layoff during winter months.
