Assessment & User Experience Librarian

The Ina Dillard Russell Library at Georgia College & State University seeks applications for a tenure-track Assessment & User Experience Librarian at the rank of Assistant Professor. Reporting to the Director of University Library, this position will maintain and enhance assessment and user experience efforts that inform decision-making, collection development, services and learning spaces. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and disseminating professional communications to both internal and external stakeholders via existing and developing communication channels. Primary assessment duties include analysis and reporting of usage and web-based feedback, development and administration of user needs assessment related to library services and spaces and participation in institutional assessment and accreditation activities. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating marketing activities, including outreach events, student engagement activities, signage development and branding of the Library. The Assessment and User Experience Librarian will be working with Library faculty, staff, advancement, assessment and other professionals to ensure Library message is consistently shared with all stakeholders.
