Position Summary

Bowdoin College Department of Biology and the Neuroscience Program invite applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin July 1, 2017 in the area of physiology. Teaching responsibilities consist of four courses, including two lab courses, Comparative Physiology and Neurophysiology, and two courses in the candidate's area of specialization. The lab courses will be taught with lab instructor support. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education, an active engagement in research, and a readiness to involve undergraduates in their research. Ph.D. required
