COORDINATOR OF FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATION

Job Description: Working with the Football Operations staff and reporting to the Offensive Coordinator, the individual serving in this position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Supervision of student-athletes in coordination and implementation of player development area to include player discipline, study hall management, class attendance management, and housing administration.
- Oversee and maintain the football scouting database. This will involve evaluating opponent game film and analyzing data on each play. Developing reports from inputted data and distributing it to each coach for game planning, student-athlete coaching and preparation study.
- Oversee quality control coordinators (QCs) and graduate assistant staff (GAs). This includes but not limited to the training of GAs and QCs on editing software, organization and delegation of work assigned by the Offensive Coordinator or the Head Football Coach, and ensuring that each GA and QC staff member knows practice duties assignments.
- Responsible for designing and implementing practice schedules and coordinates all time management matters for fall practice camp. This position will provide oversight of the fall camp team practice schedule and practice details. This person will monitor student-athlete participation time in an effort to help ensure ECU is NCAA compliant.
- Responsible for charting and recording plays during each football contest and during practice. This includes providing statistical data to coaches during the game for game management decisions.
- In charge of organizing and promoting ECU spring coaches' clinic. This includes, but is not limited to, designing promotional brochures, setting clinic schedules, and assisting with staffing.
- Provide recruiting support - design, deliver, and manage communication materials (using Photoshop or similar software) for distribution to recruits
- Perform duties with professional conduct representing the university and athletics department and provide leadership cultivating an environment of compliance, performance excellence, respect, and student-athlete well-being.
- Comply with all applicable laws, policies, by-laws, regulations, procedures and guidelines of North Carolina, University of North Carolina system, East Carolina University, the Department of Athletics, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.
- Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with athletics, Pirate Club, and University staff, students, and all constituents and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Head Football Coach.


Minimum Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and previous experience coaching or playing at the high school, collegiate or professional level.

Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
