Nature of Work:
The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Valid drivers license.

Established team player and self starter who maintains an open line of communication with Management.

Able to perform receiving, delivery, and shipping functions in the Central Receiving department.

Preferred Qualifications:
Warehouse, shipping and receiving work experience.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Computer skills in software application and hardware.

Essential Duties:
Processes all incoming shipments and identifies with University Purchase Order number system.

Assists, communicates, and coordinates with shipping vendors, campus departments, and common carriers.

Keeps organized records of all shipments; records and updates in our Intel-track system and Excel data base.

Inspects order and delivery paperwork for accuracy.

Ensures all incoming parts are processed and delivered to the proper department in a timely manner.

Works on scheduling of deliveries and pick ups with sales and outside vendors.

Maintains Excel spreadsheet on Inventory and Purchase Orders; Record Retention Center; and Q-track packing system for tracking.

Operates forklift, pallet jacks, and golf cart.

Maintains a clean and organized warehouse. other duties as requested.

Salary: $11.35/Minimum
