Communications Program Manager
The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University). It works closely with alumni and friends, faculty and staff, corporations and foundations, as well as campus development professionals to create fundraising programs and opportunities that benefit the University.
The Foundation has an immediate opening for a Communications Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible for conducting communications projects from conceptualization to finished product that support the fundraising efforts of the University and the Foundation. Projects will involve print and electronic media such as publications, video, and multi-media presentations, Websites and speeches.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing or related field with a minimum of five years of communications-related experience is required. Knowledge of Web and video development, ability to write and edit for print, and knowledge of communications principals and media are required. Strong organizational and analytical skills, and excellent communication skills, including oral and written are essential as well as being a good team player and ability to juggle multiple projects.
